if you look at the post about the rorq it seems ccp is going in the direction of drones being short range mining and miners being long range this would run counter to that.

Its kind of silly that a orca can only field 1 drone.
It should at least be able to field 1 ice drone and 2-3 light drones as defence imo.
Why?
Just abandon or recall the ice done if you need to launch combat.

they would have to nerf the base mining drone amount so the yeild stayed the same... unless you some how think exhumers need a yeild buff? they already use mining drones better than the barges.

to be fair you can find plenty of places where i show i do not agree with things that come from my ideas some times even in the same post. You can also find plenty of areas i agree with people. but saying "yeah that sounds good" is far less helpful then pointing out flaws it just maybe makes some one feel better
as for what i was saying
unless you have a valid argument that Exumers do not mine enough and need a buff to yield. the only way to keep balance giving them a drone yield buff would be to nerf the overall yield of Exumers so that the max potential yield stayed the same. none of that is random but i can see how the "please make my stuff better' mentality can make it hard to think critically. And they do use mining drones better than barges they have more mids this lets them add more drone nav comps upping the movement speed of mining drones at the cost of reduced tank.
